Personal Data Protection Notice
Last updated · 11 September 2026
1. Who we are
ppvhotline.com is operated by Daily Media Sdn. Bhd. (1579005-X), a company incorporated in Malaysia ("we", "us", "our"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.
For any question or request about your data, write to [email protected].
2. What we collect, and where it comes from
This site has no accounts and no login. We do not ask you for your name, your phone number or your email address in order to read it.
Collected automatically from your device and browser, through Google Analytics: the pages you open, the approximate location your network resolves to (country and city level), your device type, browser and screen size, how you reached us, and which links you use — including when you tap a buy button, which match it was for, and which of our partner sites you were on.
We do not send Google your name, your email address, your phone number, your payment details or any identifier that could single you out as an individual.
Buying a ticket happens elsewhere. Our buy buttons hand you over to the organiser's own checkout on bcl.my. What you enter there is collected by the organiser and by Bayarcash under their own notices, not this one.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies on your device:
_ga— distinguishes one browser from another. Expires after 2 years._ga_<id>— keeps track of a single visit. Expires after 2 years.
Because our partner storefronts are subdomains of ppvhotline.com, one cookie covers them all, and a visit that moves between them is counted once rather than several times.
We set no advertising cookies. Google's advertising features, Google Signals and remarketing are switched off, and we do not use this data to target advertising anywhere.
4. Why we collect it
- To see which matches and which pages people actually want.
- To measure which media partner brought a visitor, so that partner is credited correctly.
- To find pages that are slow, broken or hard to use.
- To decide what to publish next.
Supplying this data is voluntary in the sense that you may block or delete these cookies at any time (section 7). Nothing on this site is withheld if you do — every page, fixture and link works exactly the same.
5. Who we share it with
Google LLC, as the provider of Google Analytics 4. Google processes this data on our behalf and under its own terms. Google states that Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses; the address is used briefly to derive an approximate location and is then discarded.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share analytics data with our media partners at the level of an individual visitor. Partners see counts and totals for their own storefront.
You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
6. Transfer outside Malaysia
Google Analytics data is transferred to and processed by Google on servers outside Malaysia. Google has no data centre region in Malaysia for Analytics. We rely on Google's own contractual protections and security measures for that transfer, and we tell you about it here because the Personal Data Protection Act requires a transfer to be disclosed in writing.
7. Your choices, and your rights
You can stop this collection yourself, at any time, without asking us:
- Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, which stops it on every site you visit.
- Block or delete cookies for this site in your browser settings.
- Use your browser's private or incognito mode.
Under the PDPA you also have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct it where it is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
- Withdraw consent to further processing.
- Limit processing for direct marketing.
- Portability — ask us to transfer your data to another controller, where technically feasible.
To exercise any of these, write to [email protected]. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. There is no charge for a reasonable request.
8. How long we keep it
Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which it is deleted automatically. Aggregate totals — visit counts and the like, which identify nobody — may be kept longer.
9. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, write to us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
If this notice changes we will update the date at the top. Where a change materially affects how we handle your data, we will say so plainly rather than rely on the date alone.
