How pay per view works

How do I watch Malaysian football on pay per view?

Buy a PPV ticket for the match you want on PPV Hotline. The club or league running that fixture takes the payment, and the ticket arrives on WhatsApp within seconds. There is no app to download and no account to register.

How much does a PPV ticket cost?

Most Liga A1 Semi-Pro AFL matches cost RM10.00 for a single match, though the price is set per match by the organiser and some cost more. There is no subscription — you buy only the game you want to watch.

What payment methods can I use?

FPX online banking with any major Malaysian bank, DuitNow QR from a banking or e-wallet app, Visa or Mastercard credit and debit cards, and the e-wallets listed at checkout.

Who sells the ticket?

The club or the league that runs the match, not PPV Hotline. Kedah FA, Selangor FC II and Negeri Sembilan FC II each sell their own home matches, and the Amateur Football League sells selected fixtures on top. PPV Hotline lists them and links to the organiser's checkout.

When do tickets go on sale?

About a week before kick-off. A fixture listed with no buy button has not opened for sale yet. Where a club sells every one of its home matches, PPV Hotline counts down to the moment that fixture opens.

How is the ticket delivered?

On WhatsApp, within seconds of payment, to the number entered at checkout. A copy is also sent to your e-mail address. The message carries a button that opens your stream.

How do I open the stream on match day?

Enter the e-mail address or phone number you bought with, then press Access Content. A one-time code is sent to you by e-mail, SMS or WhatsApp; enter it and the stream page opens. The stream itself opens 30 minutes before kick-off, so arrive early enough to check your connection.

How many devices can watch one PPV ticket?

One device at a time — the same as one ticket for one person at the stadium gate. You can switch devices, but the stream plays on one screen at a time.

How do I cast a PPV match to my TV?

Open the YouTube app on your Smart TV, go to Settings and choose "Link with TV code", then type the 12 digits it shows into the "Watch on TV" box on your stream page.

How much data does a PPV match use?

Roughly 1GB to 2GB for a full match at normal quality. Wi-Fi is worth using if you have it.

My ticket has not arrived on WhatsApp. What should I do?

Check the WhatsApp number you entered at checkout, then check your e-mail including the spam folder. If there is still nothing after 15 minutes, contact the organiser that sold the match — they can resend the ticket, including to a corrected number.
